Meet
The Pastor
Hi,
my name is Francis E. Wood II and I am the pastor of Shiloh Baptist Church.
Let me introduce myself.
This area is unfamiliar to Christine, my wife, Francis III, Ronald, and
Andrew, my three boys, and myself. We have never lived in the state
of New York. Christine and myself have spent most of our high school
years in Walled Lake, Michigan, where I graduated from Walled Lake Western
High School in 1978.
In 1984 Christine and I left Walled Lake and joined the United States Air
Force. We remained in the Air Force for 12 years with our last base
being Wurtsmith AFB in Oscoda, Mi.
It was in Oscoda, Mi, when the Lord called me to be a pastor of a Southern
Baptist Mission we served in Michigan for a total of 8 years. From
Michigan, we went to Memphis, Tennessee, where I graduated from Mid-America
Baptist Theological Seminary.
It was in Tennessee that I was called by the Lord to serve at Shiloh Baptist
Church. So Christine and our three boys packed up and moved to Malone,
NY. We began serving the Lord at Shiloh Baptist Church in May of
2001.
We are so excited to have an opportunity to serve the community by being
a light for Jesus our Lord in Malone. We are eager to ministerJesus
to the people in this area.
