My Life

My Family

I was born and raised in the upstate (WAY UPSTATE!) village of Westport, New York on the shore of Lake Champlain. My maternal ancestors came to the North Country of New York State in 1791. On my father's side of the family we are Vermonters.

My Work

Currently, I am a computer teacher at Elizabethtown-Lewis Central School in Elizabethtown, NY. I work primarily with the elementary students and teachers, integrating computers into the academic areas. Our school has a total population (K-12) of about 425 students.

My Church

I am a member of the Westport (NY) Federated Church. The parent denominations of the Federated Church are the American Baptist Churches (USA) and the United Methodist Church.

Currently, the pastor of the Westport Federated Church is the Rev. Dr. Evelyn Meredith. She is also the pastor of the Port Henry (NY) Presbyterian Church.
