In the 1930's, Walt Disney started producing his animated movies ... for many years a popular source of inspiration for various attractions. A large number of memorable and loveable characters featured in the animated movies became part of a successful theme for a series of porcelain miniatures issued by George Wade & Son ltd.
The series Disney's was introduced in 1981 - 1987. Most figurines, unless noted otherwise, were marked with an oval gold paper label worded "© Walt Disney Productions Wade England".
