WHO IS SATAN?

The word Satan from the Hebrew means an adversary (Strong’s 7854). From the Greek the word Satan means the accuser (Strong’s 4567). He's one of the main players in The Bible and is the enemy of our Father.

Job 1:6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them.Job 1:7 And the Lord said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, "From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it."

he walked! the earth!!

So, he walked the earth. He surely was an adversary and accuser of Job. The Book of Job is a good lesson for us to understand today. He was persecuted when he hadn't done anything wrong. Too bad he didn't have the Book of Job to go by. He would have understood that he didn't have to tolerate Satan's persecution.
From the Hebrew (Strong's #347), Job means persecuted. What happened to Job was meant to be and serves as an example for us now. Job 1:1 There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil. He was perfect before God.

And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.

Mark 13:12 Now the brother shall betray the brother to death . . .

Mark 13:14 But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation(the desolator - false Christ), spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it (he) ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:

2Cor 11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

Rev 9:11 And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.

Gen 1:5 And God called the light Day (Christ), and the darkness he called Night (Satan).

Isa 14:12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

Matt 7:17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

Rev 8:11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood and the third part of the waters became wormwood (bitter) and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.

Rev 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Rev 13:17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

Rev 16:13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

Those are a few of his names and roles. I prefer to call him Satan. We have the power, through Jesus Christ to kick dragon. Even though the dragon, Satan, is not here defacto, his spirit is alive and thriving.

Luke 10:17 . . . even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.

Luke 10:19 Behold, I (Jesus) give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Satan): and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

WHAT DOES SATAN LOOK LIKE?

Gen 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made.

Eze 28:13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.

Eze 28:14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.

Eze 28:15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.

Eze 31:7 Thus was he fair in his greatness, in the length of his branches: for his root was by great waters.

Eze 31:8 The cedars in the garden of God could not hide him: the fir trees were not like his boughs, and the chestnut trees were not like his branches; nor any tree in the garden of God was like unto him in his beauty.

Eze 31:9 I have made him fair by the multitude of his branches: so that all the trees of Eden, that were in the garden of God, envied him.

he's a looker!

He doesn’t sound like some evil looking guy in red long johns, carrying a pitchfork. From the description, he sounds beautiful. One might possibly mistake him for Jesus. At one time he was perfect before God. Did you read it; he was more subtil(crafty) than any beast and he was in the garden. Will you be able to recognize Satan when he arrives?

WHERE IS SATAN?

These events have not yet taken place, but will at the 666.

Rev 13:18

Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

Rev 12:7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,

Rev 12:8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.

Rev 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Rev 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

So Satan, along with his angels, has been in heaven! He’s been up there accusing innocent people of God knows what. Oh yeah, God’s the one who’s had to listen to it all this time. Man, He must get sick of it.

Please note that Rev 12 happens before Jesus Christ returns. That means that Satan will be here before Jesus arrives. Will you recognize him?

WHERE WILL SATAN APPEAR?

Dan 11:21 And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.

Dan 11:22 And with the arms of a flood (of lies) shall they be overflown from before him, and shall be broken; yea, also the prince of the covenant.

Dan 11:23 And after the league made with him he shall work deceitfully: for he shall come up, and shall become strong with a small people.

Dan 11:24 He shall enter peaceably even upon the fattest places of the province . . .

2 Thes 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

2 Thes 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

When Satan is booted out of heaven into the earth, he won't have much time, so he will head straight for the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. Do you know the signs of Satan's coming? Are you familiar with the Seven Seals, Trumpets, and Vials? Do you know the Parable of the Fig Tree?

Satan (the son of perdition), will appear as a man, sitting in the temple of God (Jerusalem), claiming to be the Messiah. He will be charming; he will perform miracles for you; he wants to win you over to his side. He is a liar and the enemy of our Father.

There is no need to fear Satan. Matt 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Satan does not have that power, but our Father does.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO SATAN?

Perdition: eternal death

Rev 17:8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

Rev 17:11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.

Rev 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Eze 28:16 By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.

Eze 28:17 Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.

Eze 28:18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffic; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.

Eze 28:19 All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.

WHAT THEN?

Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Rev 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Those whose names are not written in the book of life will be blotted out and remembered no more. It will be as if they never existed.

WHAT ABOUT YOU?

Rev 21:7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

Rev 21:10 . . . that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,

Rev 21:23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

Rev 21:24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.

Rev 21:25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.

Rev 21:26 And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations (all the races) into it.

Rev 21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.
