This spacious cottage is located in Westminster Park
on Wellesley Island, NY. The cottage was rebuilt 10 years ago, and
had a fully modern kitchen with d/w, microwave,garbage disposal and trash
compactor. The dining area which adjoins the kitchen overlooks the
river as does the huge living room. There are two couches, one of
which is a pull out sleeper, and three chairs, two of which are contour
chairs. We have color cable tv and vcr. Windows span the entire
front of the house for a beautiful view of the river. The bedrooms
are in the back half of the house. The master bedroom has a queen
size waterbed and huge walk in closets. The master bath is off from
this, and is fitted with an oversize shower with double heads and sitting
area. The second bedroom has a king size regular bed and closet area.
The second 1/2 bath is off from this bedroom and a washer/dryer is in this
bathroom. Between these two bedrooms is the original cottage-a big
huge room with a ceiling open to the rafters. We use this as the
bunkroom. It is set up with 2 bunk beds and another pull out couch.
It also has a table and chairs for card playing and another chair
for reading. This room unlike the other modern rooms, has been left
original, to let the character of the old cottage shine through,
complete with braided rugs. The neighboring cottages are spaced
nicely apart, and it is a quiet nice area. The front deck spans the
entire front of the house, and has a picnic table and sunchairs set out
to sit and watch the river or lay in the sun. It overlooks the huge
front lawn and the river directly out in front. We have good
water depth at the docks, having added on another floater on the end of
the fixed dock to ensure good water depth all season.

Rates for the cottage are as follows: shoulder season-$600 per week;
in season(July 4 wknd to Labor Day wknd)-$800; multiple weeks are discounted,
