DESIGN/BUILD PROJECTS

Winter ’98 – Fall ’99
Michael Greer and Co., Carpenters. Potsdam, NY
Private Residence: 1,800 sq. ft., Timber Frame Construction, Pyrites, NY
I worked closely with the client on the design of this house, refining the initial layout as well as resolving the issues of entry, massing and elevation. I designed the timber frame structure, and produced the working drawings for both house and timber frame. In addition, I assisted in cutting the frame and worked as a carpenter on the house for all phases of construction.

Fall ’98

Barn/workshop, Stick Construction, Pyrites NY
For this project, I refined the client’s design, produced the working drawings and worked as a carpenter on all stages of its construction.

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE

Camp addition, Trout Lake, NY
For this construction proposal, I facilitated the design meeting with the clients, did the final design work and produced drawings for estimating and presentation purposes.
Summer ’97
Michael Greer and Co., Carpenters. Potsdam, NY
Omohundro Barn, Timber Frame Construction, Hannawa Falls, NY
I worked as one of the main carpenters cutting timbers for this barn frame.
