mammatus cloudsI'm not sure if I'm the one who took this picture or my brother, but it shows one of my favorite subjects - weather.
Dolphins bowridingThese are common dolphins. I saw them while on a whale watch off Dana Point in Southern California. One of their favorite passtimes is to bowride or ride in the bow waves of a boat.
What
a ham!We don't have this cat any more, but she was a character. I like the composition more than anything - the way the sunlight plays on her, the leaves and the branch.
Can't
see the forest for the treesThis picture was taken at Whetstone Gulf in Lowville, NY. This forest was interesting because many of the trees grew oddly. If you look closely, you can see the big bends in the trunks. Why they grew this way, I don't know, but they made nice seats.
Only
patience will get you these pictures And back to my favorite subject. Actually, lightning is my most favorite subject because it poses such a challenge. It takes a lot of patience and timing.
Red
Rocks, Sedona, AZI took this picture while riding in a car, driving through Sedona in Arizona
On the
way back from the Grand CanyonI don't remember the name of the mountain peak, but it was very pretty. It was on the way back from the Grand Canyon that I saw it. It's interesting because it was 85 or 90 degrees where I was, but snow on the peak of this mountain.
Sunset
in Dana Point, CAThis is a sunset over the Pacific Ocean off Dana Point near San Juan Capistrano in California.
Bill
& GoogooThis picture just shows the friend ship we had with these kids - this was our first day there.
Dominican
ChildrenI love this picture. the little boy, Ningu, is mimicing the young girl. All children do this, but it taught me to watch my actions, because these children would mimic all that we did.
Muy
bonita! I thought that this girl was very pretty - even in black and white.
Sisters Although I didn't realize it at the time, these two girls are sisters.
