Stormwater Management
As site disturbance becomes more concentrated,
the management of stormwater runoff becomes increasingly
important for the protection of downstream properties
and environmentally sensitive areas. Design
Engineering & Land Surveying, P.C. makes extensive
use of computers for analysis of drainage areas using
the TR-55 methodologies developed by the U.S.D.A. Soil
Conservation Service. Based on these analyses, we design
collection and treatment systems, ponds for both detention
and retention, and discharge structures to disperse
stormwater while preventing erosion.
