I love to read, fish, and meet new people. I used to read 4-6 books per week before I discovered genealogy on the internet. Lately I find myself looking at book catalogs and sighing - so many titles -- so little time!! Fishing, too, has taken a back seat to genealogy - but the local guides tell me it's lousy anyway.

I have been married for 34 years and have two wonderful sons - both married and leading their own harried lives. I have 4 beautiful grandchildren - three of whom are in Germany with their Dad and Mom. Dad is a USAF pilot on loan to the German Air Force for a few years - a wonderful experience! They are getting to see so much of the world. My fourth grandchild is within hugging distance though and when I get desperate I can always drive the 1-1/2 hrs. it takes to grab her up.

I also do quite a bit of volunteer work for our community, plan and organize two family reunions per year (maternal and paternal), operate a bookkeeping business for small contractors and publish a 'Calendar of Events' for our community on a quarterly basis. All in all, I manage to keep quite busy. But I'm not so busy that I wouldn't enjoy hearing from you......
