I support a call from the International Rivers Network, and call for a divestment in China’s Three Gorges Dam Project. In protest, I am including my broken Discover card. Please close my account and remove me from your mailing list. Please forward my Cash Back Bonus as soon as possible so I can donate it to International Rivers Network.
The Three Gorges Dam Project stands to be one of the largest and most destructive dam projects ever. While there is money to be made for the builders and operators of this project, it is not worth the environmental and social cost. Please consider this call to social and environmental responsibility in this matter and in future investments. For my part, I can not go on helping you make money if you will use it to fund such projects.
